How To Use SetSat
The SetSat satellite finder has been designed for the Home user to make a quick and accurate self satellite alignment of a satellite dish antenna. With simple menu's and easy to configure settings, which can all be edited by the user. The instument comes with the most popular satellites pre-installed for easy use and fast operation.
Step 1. Press the power button to switch the meter on.
Step 2 .Highlight the satellite to align to, using the up /down arrows of the navikey.
Step 3. Press the right arrow key to start the search. Then use the up/down arrow to see numerical results.
Now move the antenna up and down and left to right to see the two bar graph reader's move up.
when you have found a signal, move the antenna more delicately to see the strongest precent's on the two bar graphs.
To check if you have found the correct satellite, connect your satellite receiver and check the picture is correct.
The pre-installed list is set to find only the correct satellite, but you can edit all of the information easily to change these settings ,unlike most other Home use satellite finders. Data on all satellite can be found on the internet at http://www.lyngsat.com/
